The Spanish Club is a group of Centennial Spanish students who value and promote cultural engagement in their schools and community. This group will gather several times a year to learn about and celebrate Iberian and Latin cultures, holidays, festivals, customs, and practices in order to create a more inclusive and understanding Centennial student body. Our purpose is to create friendships and positive experiences for students as they interact with Hispanic culture, collaboratively using a variety of linguistic skill levels and differing backgrounds. We welcome everyone, and our group
ranges from new-to-Spanish learners all the way to native Spanish speakers. The Spanish Club will host monthly student-led events throughout the year that are open for all Centennial students to attend. These events may include Hispanic Heritage Month, Día de los Muertos, or classroom-related extensions. For more information about the club and meeting times, please email Ryli Smith.
